Ensuring a good fit

It can be difficult to reach out and ask for help, finding a skillful counsellor who will create a safe place is important.
If you are calling about yourself or you are the legal guardian of a child or youth, we can arrange a 15 minute phone call for you to learn more about Susanne's educational background and her extensive clinical experience before you make a commitment for our first session.

Building stronger relationships

Susanne creates a safe place to discuss and explore what is important to you; whether that is understanding patterns or building a more skillful response to difficult situations.
Susanne also works with the whole family to understand patterns that may not be helpful, build communication skills and strengthen relationships within the family.

Strengthen the family

When your child is struggling, it impacts the whole family.  This can be especially difficult if your child is unwilling to seek help.  As a parent, you know your child better than anyone.  Yet some challenges can be so difficult that you feel hopeless, helpless and frustrated.  Susanne's role is to give you the support you need to help you and your child get back on track.
